Benefits of membership
Regular club rides every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday (see our Ride Timetable for details) and other ad hoc rides
Occasional trips (we have recently been to Nice, Girona, the Alps and Mont Ventoux)

Our club ethos
We ask all our members to adopt our club ethos: We aim to be inclusive - we are passionate about cycling but not elitist. We welcome everyone and will nurture and encourage less experienced riders. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, ageism, or any other form of discrimination. And specifically: Adhere to the rules of the road. Do not jump red lights. Do not ride on the pavement. Be courteous at all times. Use lights when conditions suggest it is sensible. When cycling in a group, try to call out potholes or other types of potential hazards. Look out for each other at all times.
Insurance
The club is insured against legal claims brought against the club through our affiliation to British Cycling. However, this insurance does not cover individual members. We strongly encourage everyone who rides with us to have get their own third party insurance (eg via membership of British Cycling or the London Cycling Campaign).

Focus on cycling - the group exists primarily to facilitate our bike-related activities so please try to stick to cycling. The group is a great way to set up ad hoc group rides so do use it if you a looking for riding companions.
No commercial activity - this is not a forum for promoting your business but private bike-related buy and sell or give away is fine.
